HR Advisor Global Sales
The HR Advisor acts as first point of contact to staff and management for HR matters within the Global Sales department. This department has a strong international vibe, so you will be facing a lot of different nationalities. You are responsible for around 40 employees based in Amsterdam. Beside you are coordinating HR matters from local departments abroad.The subjects the HR Advisor will work on, are:
- Performance management;
- training & development;
- health & safety, absence management, employee engagement;
- recruitment and Induction;
- international ECCO policies & benefits, Dutch labor laws and Dutch works council matters;
- HR administration.
Stakeholders for this role are mainly line managers, EVP Global Sales (& support office), Works Council and all staff members of the dedicated markets and departments.

The HR Advisor is responsible for supporting staff and management within Global Sales in all HR related matters. Global Sales is a Headquarter unit from where the global sales regions (US & Canada, EMEA, Greater China and Asia-Pacific) are governed and supported in sales related activities, from commercial strategies and deliverables to global project roll-outs. In this role, you will closely partner with key business leaders, by aligning HR strategy with business strategies. You will provide a full spectrum HR support and programs on a global basis to employees and managers. The tasks and responsibilities consist of: induction of staff, supporting our managers in performance management, training & development, recruitment, coach managers in case of long term illness and participation in HR related projects. In addition to managing employee relations and HR administration, your role will be to act as a business partner to the organization, driving operational excellence and success of HR as a key business driver. The HR Advisor acts as first point of contact to staff and management for HR matters.

- Knowledge of and work experience in Dutch labour legislation, familiar with online recruitment tool;
- minimum of 2 years experience within HR in an international environment;
- experience with 30% ruling;
- strong communication skills.
